i get this problem as well, it doesn't respect the full path to the forum.

The administrators want you to view a thread before you continue to browse the forum.

whereas it should go to http://forum.com/vb/showthread.php?t=1

as per my forum settings.

Had to disable this, really hoping we can get a fix
