Heres an idea

I want to put a part of our forums as a private page (i.e. downloads area) but have it protected so only registered users can access the page (similar login to the admin page)

i assume this would be some added routines to the global.php ?

and maybe a file login.php which would include the data to be displayed on the page

i dont want the displayed page to have anything to do with the forums - just connected to have access for registered users login and pass

i'm sure others have wanted a similar page on their sites

any input would be appreciated
