Currently I have a site using phpbb as the main forums. And when a new user registers into phpbb, they are also registered into another, separate gaming database.

Would anyone know if there is any type of mod or hack that will let you do something similar? I would not want to (nor sure if its legal) to hack any of the core vbulletin files to add in custom code to register the user into the second database.

If I can get dual registration to work. Then my next question is on dual login. When the user logs into the forums, then he/she is also logged into the game. I would think there is some type of session variable to indicate if the user is logged in?

FYI, I am semi-new at coding php, so not sure I used the right terms there.
