For the css code comment I meant where the css gets declared, I can't be sure exactly where it'd be declared but it''s generally in the headinclude part of the template or the additional css section. DUnno if that helps though

Also another of my suggestions would be to try searching your template/s for the term: id="1"
and : id="1_menu"

maybe there are multiple sections that have that id applied to them. In which case they'd all need to be turned into class.
