I want to add a usergroup promotion strategy based off the amount of vBCredits a user has. I've had a look in admincp/usergroup.php and the promotion.php cron job but I'm a bit stuck.

I have replaced the "Posts" promotion with "Credits" and changed the SQL query to address the user.credits vales rather than user.posts but the promotion then just promotes everyone without checking the amount of vBCredits.

Has anyone else messed around with the promotion system and/or created a custom promotion. Or is there a product or plugin that will allow me to create a new promotion strategy ?
