Hi,

I'm not quite sure where to put this, and I have a feeling the thread might get closed, but thought I'd ask anyway.

The vB Pager hack was recently discontinued due to a security exploit. As might be expected, the nature of the exploit has not been released. I am assuming it is the author's responsibility to fix the problem, and he/she doesn't appear to have visited in over a year.

Am I to understand that the prospect of being blessed with a fixed vB Pager is rather bleak, much less the prospect of learning exactly what the problem is? I've had a good look through the source file myself and I spotted a few suspect things, but obviously I can't guarantee to paper over a crack caused by an ultra obscure exploit...

Some advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!
