Oops... I thought I'd added the link to part two to the end of this tutorial, but I now see that I haven't (have just done it now). You'll find part 2 here. The situation is a little trickier than I first thought, so I'll be updating part 2 with my new findings.

I'm also in the middle of writing an automatic tool to build these plugins automatically, but it's proving to be rather difficult...
