Hi there yahoooh,
Zoints is a pretty big project, especially for one that had a staff who either left due to the stress and exhaustion a few months ago as well as some who simply became inactive over time. We had to get out customer support back strong, which I believe we have, and as of late we have been adding onto the staff and developing a roadmap of where we should head. A Zoints Local update is very important for us to release out to you guys, the public, and we have a whole list of features and bugs we would like to fix.... it's just an issue of getting the engineers together to get it done. This is a priority and I know its been something we've said for awhile, but we're hoping its sooner than later as it is one of our very top priorities. If I can say something a bit more solid, I will as soon as I am able to.
Thanks for your patience.

Is there a way to fix this?

Hi EvilKitty,
So let me get this straight, you are talking about vBulletin styles and not Zoints styles, correct? If so, the problem is that you're using style 2 for vBulletin and when going to a Zoints profile you then see style 1 for vBulletin, it goes back to it, is that right? If so, ensure you haven't used custom header foot information (which would lock you into using that particular style information on a Zoints profile by going to you /z/ install, then settings, then Zoints Admin Settings and see whether "Header and Footer" or "Other" is selected. If you are using the "Header and Footer" feature and this result is persistent, please open up a support ticket at network.zoints.com. I don't know if this has an effect or not (I don't think it does), but make sure the vBulletin Style is available for user selection.
Thanks and I hope we can resolve this.

Hi Alexvanleeuwen,
Did you chmod 777 the user folder? If not, that could be the problem. If that fix is not correct, open up a ticket at network.zoints.com as we might need to look at your setup and files for you Zoints Local install.
Thanks.

Hi MasterG,
I appreciate the comments about Zoints and I can understand the frustration. No one on this team has wanted to halt development and it never really has been halted, it just seems that way. Think of it like a group of people on a ship, but all of a sudden the ship disappears and the people remain.... in the middle of the ocean, we lost something we depended on (the ship) and we have to think together of something that will save us and get us back on solid ground (of course we would swim to the nearest island and coconut boat here we come). The sell of Zoints shook things up obviously and we lost people that we really relied on, like the aforementioned dchapman (David.) We're ambitious, and a few months ago considering the active staff we had, with people like myself taking on new roles, we were setup to be too ambitious for the manpower we had at the time. Like I mentioned before, we have been retooling the staff and really focusing on our future direction and our development. David however did not leave for any reason as you mentioned, that man poured his heart and soul into this project more than anyone and was simply exhausted and wanting to get to a state of normalcy again. Really, I haven't ever seen someone so dedicated to an project as he was. He still believes in Zoints and assists when needed and we still try to keep his values and principles in mind as that is what we believe in as well.
Currently, I am on vacation (and have been for a few days) so that is why the response time here has been a bit lacking and I do apologize for it. I also apologize for the slow moving development but we really are working towards it as I wouldn't be working here and on network.zoints.com (along with the rest of our staff) if this was a dead project with no future. We want to keep you guys happy, because frankly, we're forum owners as well (the majority anyway) and we would love a new release of Zoints Local to our forums.
