that's not the case .. we use a formula that accounts for a number of things

I don't know maybe ...

how much you participate?
how many articles (and ratings)?
how many modifications uploaded?
how many installs?
how active are you on the site?
ratings on modifications?
installs on modifications?
MOTM?

I can go on .. that's just a few things that we maybe consider.

The bottom line ... we promote the members who are the most active. Those who are not active will eventually drop off the list.
Yes, but in that case you shouldn't have the releases count next to the usernames. It will just cause confusion.
