my users very often quote entirely the previous post / the main discussion

How can I prevent the user to put too much text in a quote?

I'd like a way to have quoted the first X words of the quote, then a [...] and then the last X words (if the entire message is bigger then X words). Does it exists a such mod?

How do you manage this problem?
