i tried reinstalling the board using a blank database again but it says the same error with functions.php. So i replaced the old functions.php, now the installation starts but again crashes somewhere in between due to error in some other file.

Now if i were to replace all the vbulletin files and install a fresh vbulletin version on a blank database , can i upload my database backup to my new fresh install ? Will my mods remain intact ?
