Actually, that's not completely accurate. I'm responding to threads started by the person scammed. And I'm responding to the fact that we have repeated threads from the people being scammed and those threads are at best ignored, at worst actively deleted, which in my mind is a complacency by vbulletin.org.
They make no effort to stop the scammers, and actually hinder the community when it tries to stop them and warn others on its own. How do you think these 'coders' are able to repeatedly scam people?
We all know how to stop this, and it's not difficult. So we can only assume that vBulletin.org and Jelsoft not taking those actions, and in fact covering up evidence of scammers, means they support the actions of these scammers.
I wouldn't be so forceful in my wording, if this was a new problem. But it's been an ongoing problem for a long time, and I don't know what else to do other than be frank and brutally honest about it.
