I was wondering if there's a hack/addon for this. Basically I want to pull every thread from a specific forum and post it on the main page of my site as news (showing the content of the thread). Only the 10 most recent threads will show up.

VBAdvanced does this perfectly with their news module - unfortunately the rest of VBA isn't of much use to me and just won't do for my site. So, how can I do this? I'm not that great of a coder and although I did peep at the news.php file that came with VBA, integrating it into my site as a standalone script is beyond me at this point. Can anyone help?
