actually, your template is 500% incompatible and not-compliant with any web protocol... you use the <b > tag to create borders, but the <b > tag is a BOLD tag, not BORDER...
it is not to use a "better" solution, but a "real" solution, by changing your <b tag for a <div or a <span, depending on how your CSS is built... THEN you will have something that may be reworked to be compliant and compatible...
