Many users use the Today's Posts to determine those posts that are new for the day. For a large board, some users may desire to select the forums they would like to see the Today's Posts (or New Posts) from.

In other words, assume a board has 35 forums. Assume the user only wants to see the new posts (or Today's posts) for 10 of the 35 forums because he is disinterested in the other forums.

I think this hack would be useful for large boards with many sub-forums.
