Ive done two previous mods for some site work, however now Im working on a new one, and I would like to eliminate my hack.

The issue is that I am merging vbulletin with another application. And while I can import everything correctly, the issue appears when i launch the site, I get all broken images so what I tend to do is just upload all those images on my board to that new site. However I would like to eliminate this, I edited the
$stylevar variable and replaced images/ with http://www.forum......images/ and it does seem to do the trick to a certain point.

Is there an easier way to do this? I've seen other products do this, however I cant find working examples i can download to check this. For example Photopost does it, they put their forum and the gallery in seperate directories.
