Im trying to install vBulletin on my pc using appserve.

Everytime I get to step 2 I get this message

Error description: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost' (10061) C:\AppServ\www\forum\includes\class_core.php on line 274

The database has failed to connect because you do not have permission to connect to the server. Please confirm the values entered in the 'includes/config.php' file.

As far as I'm aware I don't have to setup a username and passsword for the database, but if I do, where and how can I do this?
