Um, I thought what he was asking was how to put the attachments into the file system, not the database. If that was the question, you can change it in your Admin CP > Attachments > Attachment Storage Type . Change it to the File System. Make sure the the folder you are choosing to move them to is NOT in your root folder (usually the public_html folder) and make sure you chmod the folder to 777. After you've done that, you can select to move your attachments to the file system. (You can do the same for avatars also.)
