It just changes defaults in forms.

For example "Remember Me" checkbox is unchecked by default in login form. Using this mod you can set it to be always checked by default.

Here it's checked by default thanks to this mod: www.bihforum.com (look at "Zapamti" in navbar login form, it's checked when you load page)
