for some reason I cant get the permissions right for the data folder and have thus not been able to upload the .htaccess and index.php in there. I am upgrading from version 1.6.1
Can I do this without changing these files? If not do you have any clue what the problem may be? I've been trying all night, but cant get it to work. Once I change the settings, they are then back again as they where.
