Heya,

I am currently running the latest version vBulletin 3.6.5.

On my forum we have a download center which members can upload .zip and .rar up to 50mb onto the forum.

Uploads are member created levels for an unreal mod we are making.

At the moment, my main concern is first of all with the default vbulletin attachment system, files are stored in the database. I have no problem with the way attachments are handled, but I am looking for a way that instead of getting put in the database, they get put in a folder on the web server precreated.

Does a mod or a simple hack exist already to do this?

Oh my silly, found in the Admincp a option to move them into the filesystem

Quick question though:

At the moment I CHMOD'ed the attachment folder (/attachments/) with everything (777).
That seems a bit unsecure to me, any idea the exact chmod I need to allow vbulletin to run, without making the web server unsecure?
