I run a hardware review website with a rapidly growing forums......I need some help/ideas on how to manage something.

I hope this makes sense, because its hard to explain. I want to be able to list companies by component on a separate/sub page.....My thought was a Category called tech support, then have all the different component categories (maybe show as subforums on the mainpage), then in the actual forum, a list of companies under each component with the external link.

What would be ideal is to have them taken to the external page without leaving my site, maybe in a frame (I've tried the hacks for that here, they look like garbage).

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone? C'mon guys, all this coding and no one has an idea how i can organize this?

Is there a way to make one Categories subforum not show up on the forumhome page, and possibly make subforums for those subforums, linking to external sites?
