I haven't seen this here at vb.org.... but this is something like the marketplace at webhostingtalk.com has. If anyone knows of this hack already being released, please point me in the right direction.

What I want is, I have a marketplace in my forum where people can offer what they have for sale. I don't want anyone to monopolize the forum. So, I'd like to limit everyone to a certain number of posts over a specified time period.

For example: I'd like to allow every member to post one new thread each week. So, the hack would prevent them from making a new thread in the marketplace forum until exactly seven days after they posted their prior thread.

Currently we impliment this by having the moderators keep an eye on it. And, that's not a perfect system and it causes too much of a burdon on the moderators.

Would love to have this...... anyone?
