Did any other cash mods have this feature to recount posts? if they did which one, maybe i can study their code and get an idea where to start.

@ chickoo, i am using username because in order to get a username from an id, a query has to be run, in order to get a username from a username nothing has to be done

You mentioned disadvantages? what are some?
