I have one suggestion, not sure if you can implement it or not without messing up things like server load and stuff like that.....

Is there a way to have the threads that show up in "news" not show up in "latest posts" ? (it would also be nice to be able to stack these two on top of each other in columns, as they take up the most width.)

Great mod here, thanks for bringing back the single row option and post count for new members
