He obviously has a vb license as he has hacks released here(No flaming intented, just an I told you so kind of thing

), but I don't know why he is releasing hacks if he runs IPB....anyway....
1- It is entirely possible, download it from the vbulletin.com's member area/
2-Pretty straight forward, just like installing vbulletin. Fill in some server info, run the converer.
3-Not much of a chance, but of course your smart enough to make a complete backup of your board incase it does! Although, all passwords will be lost.
