i can't find   so wasn't able to insert $header_advertisement.

It must be $GLOBALS not $globals.

If you have other modifications installed, try disabling them and seeing if that makes a difference. You're the first to report a blank white page as far as I can remember...

Are you using vBSEO? If so, ensure you're using the latest version of the modification, I put this issue down to a conflict with that modification. Possibly incorrectly.
