To the best of my knowledge, there is not. If you are modifying text, you may want to start with looking at your Phrase Manager under Languages & Phrases. ...or just search for whatever phrases you might want to change in Search in Phrases.

Back to the html bit... I would be weary of making any changes to templates without a basic understanding of html first. It's quite simple to pick-up. Here's a good place to start: http://www.w3schools.com/html/default.asp.

Having this bit of knowledge will really help you more in understanding, customizing and working with your templates.
