My advice to those having complete problems (no display) is: recapitulate the install and make sure the cron task is working. That advice may be worth nothing. I can't support the add-on for you any further. As always, the more details you post, the more likely you are to get help. If it was me, I'd post: O/S, vB & add-on versions plus file locations uploaded, plus cron task log.

To be clear again: You can wreck things playing around at this level. If you do, its YOUR fault. My code is NOT authorized by Stonyarc and frankly, I expect him to delete this post when he/she returns. For those who have the skills to deal with this, I hope this helps you. I've been helped so much be vb.org over the years.

Thanks very much for sharing this; I very much wanted to enable avatars in the GoogleMap ME on my forum, and so I followed these instructions to a "T." Avatars are, in fact, stored in my forum's database.
And so I made a full backup of my database, created the php (making sure to edit it to match my forum's URL

) and then uploaded the file... created the cron job, and manually ran it.
Then I ran that SQL query... but don't see standard avatar URLs. All I see are the URLs to pics folks have "manually" attached to their map entry. Of course I still don't see any avatars in the actual map, either. In fact, it appears that nothing has changed. So now I am just wondering if there's anything else I can try.
I am running vBulletin 3.6.4.
Server Type: Linux
Web Server: Apache v1.3.37 (cgi)
PHPL 4.4.4
MySQL Version: 5.0.24a-standard-log
Not too many add-ons, everything else is running swimmingly, in fact.
Again, thanks for sharing this!
