I have a sidebar on my board, but I want to give users the option of removing it. Right now I have this as a profile field option.

But what I would really like is to be able to turn the sidebar on and off by simply clicking a link on the sidebar itself. What's the best way of going about this?

Is there a way to change the value of $bbuserinfo[field12] via a link? Or must I go about this some other way?
