So I've been looking for a job but overall not having terribly much luck. Last night or night before I'm looking around a domain trading forum, more for my amusement, though in the back of my mind I was looking for a domain that would be suitable for hardware reviews and the like, when I stumbled upon a new thread, myself being the first view of it. Turns out a guy is selling LinuxHackers.com, which he's held onto since 2000.
The price? A mere $35.
This was...this was big, and I had to realize that. There's a lot of potential in the name, the quality of the name beat most of the bargain bin domains by a mile. I checked my bank account because I knew this wasn't going to be simple. Turns out I've got $75 to my name.
So I did what any logical man would do and buy a name for a website in the internet with about half my money.
Am I crazy or just being an entrepreneur? I don't really believe a domain like that would've lasted on the market more than an hour or two.
Man I've
got to find a job though.
