vBouncer is an entirely different hack than this one, it does different things and handles bounced email in different ways than this hack, EZbounced Email Management...

It's most likely your email client. There's a feature in the vbulletin options to display the EZbounce urls in the body of the bounced email message instead of the headers. You can turn this feature on for future bouncing emails if your email client isn't displaying the bounced emails in the header.
