My server admin found this info on vbulletin's help site:

Basically, the functionality to maintain an "archive" on the board is already in place. The only issue for me, then, would be to write the "archive" to the free area while maintaining the live board in the members' area, right?

Here's what the info says:

So, if I can just change the place that the archive is written to , I've accomplished what I want, it seems. Or am I msising something...?
