i'm not familiar with that particular hack... but the uninstall features should automatically remove all tables created during the install process. empty tables shouldn't really even hurt your DB if they still exists. if it's a plugin, you could disable all plugins so your board runs and then remove/reinstall them one by one as needed. what is the specific error message you're getting?
