vb.org Archive - View Single Post - How do I let users decide which forums to view in new posts?

I've seen this on some forums where in the user CP, they can select which forums they get when they search new posts. Its very nice, including a tree view where they select which forums by highlighting, etc.

I tried searching the mods for 3.6.. but can't seem to get the right keywords it seems to find good hits.

Anyone know what I'm talking about?
