vb.org Archive - View Single Post - Custom Member Field & Dropdown Selections?

I want to create a custom field that is mandatory when a new user registers; and would like the user to choose from a drop down box of available choices...

This is to keep the member information consistent, and easier to sort. Is this possible? any one create such a thing?

Lastly, is there a way my membership list can be sorted on these custom fields? on the member page?
