vb.org Archive - View Single Post - User Created Passworded Threads?

Were looking for a solution that will let users create private passworded threads and then send the link to the thread to a number of emails adressess, providing the password, or encpryted password in a link to go into the thread and post replies. These threads should also be visible by other board users, but not be able to post.

Is this a mod available for Vbulletin or something that can be customised for us to do?
