Just a quick thought. Are you sure you have HTML allowed in your emails? On your computer side, not your website. If you don't allow html when receiving emails, it may just come out as plain text.
The email should have all the <a href junk on the links if its not allowing it.
No signs of it attempting to be a link?

Ok, I can't seem to think of any better ideas. Have to get one of the brains around here to help you. Only thing I can think of is that you messed with your notifications and possibly removed the %LINKGAME or some other very important tag. Sorry I couldn't help more.
