just to show you what i got going on and the colors heres my forum..Just started it a few days ago and still tryin to set it up...I have yet to put anything on the bottom...

The colors change automaticaly. if you were to use a dark skin, it would change the colors to the same as the skin

Yes but then the buttons wouldnt properly fit. If you DO wish to change it, in the code find:

is what regulates the width. the height is auto regulated to the immage size
