I don't understand why you'd need to import two xml's to be honest. The one we have in this thread is a reworking of the Classic Liquid and not the one on vb.org.

If the two xml's you're referring to are the ones in the zip in this thread, then that's to give you a fixed and fluid version of the style - it is not necessary to install both if you only wish to use one of them
