How do I disabled posting between a certain time, for example 1am-6am?

I also want to stop users posting until 12 hours after they have registered.

Any help on these two features would be much appreciated. These are two of the key important featured I need for my forum.

Is there no mods for this? If I did need to write one myself, can I just editing the posting script to check the time before posting?
