Zoints is not a viable alternative ?

I don't think zoints is an alternative to vBSEO. Because the last time i checked they still had duplicate contents problems and also they still didn't work with nearly all modifications.

No I don't think you should splash out for it. There is not enough evidence so far to conclusively prove that VBSEO is a benefit for the price.

Secondly, if in the near future Google and others decide it is playing the system too much then you are out in the cold

There is absolutly no proof that any kind of action Google will take agains vBSEO because vBSEO only uses whitehat seo options which is allowed and advised by all major search engines. If they decided to forbid whitehat seo tactics in anyday , all sites have to take out their seo optimizations.
