That method isn't very practical from speed point of view, but a proper method to correctly convert everything instead of quick job. Mod won't work as well as editing every table because then you'll need to convert first table row into a header and some tables don't have a row that could be used for header, some tables have it on second row, some tables have more than one line in header.

Result of a mod would be ether only few pages converted instead of full style conversion, or ugly conversion as if it was done by "designer" with no clue of html.

If you want a fast method then use that method to convert only few tables that you want. Majority of commercial styles have only few pages converted because designers are too lazy to convert everything.
