Would love to use this but it will not install at all.

I'm using version 3.6.4 When I go to manage products, browse for the plugin file and then click on import my browser just hangs there. I tried it on both firefox & IE 7. I tried installing it manually through the file itself instead of browsing for the file, nothing. Would love to use this because I really need it. Any ideas on what the problem is?
