Well, I just end up using the laptop (and old G4 17") everywhere I go. It fits in my backpack, so the weight isn't an issue, it runs WoW smoothly enough, and runs all the image stuff I need. The mac laptop has become a bit of a lifestyle choice for me, so I never use our desktop any more.

I like things 'just so' when I use a machine, so it makes sense for me to take the same one everywhere.
