The logo is nice, nothing that really stand out but it does fit well with the site and color scheme. Similarly the portal page is good looking, but very stock.

Much of the site has the same feel, it is customised to a point but not to any extent that give me that "Wow....cool" feeling. This is not necessarily a bad thing, as you seem to have some good traffic so far.

This is one of those site that I have no idea what it is about. Some guy named Mika I am guessing...but knowing nothing about him I would be hard pressed to explore the site further. The guest welcome message can be used to clarify this for visitors...if only adding a last name or what this person is famous for. Keywords make the world go 'round

The ads in the welcome message is an interesting idea. I think it looks better if you just stick with the text ads though. As for monotizing the forum, there is a nice mod here "(vBAdManager if I remember correctly) that can help to easily set it up.

In all I think it is a good looking and well setup site that could use some minor tweaking to make it really stand out. Great job so far
