Don't like the front page at all. It seems saturated with ads and banner links with only a little relevant information. I would say drop some of those ads and banners, or move the more relevant content to the top. You want to catch the visitor's eye with your content, not give them the impression that you are only looking to make a buck

The forum is nicely done. I like the custom forum icons you have, but there also seem to be some default ones that look out of place. The look would benefit from altering these as well to match the theme of the site.

The colors feel a little default....like if I was looking at an unmodified VB install. That is not a bad thing as long as you customise the other areas.

The logo is nice, if a bit simple. You may want to try putting some more there, if just to see how it looks.
