I have my shoutbox running on my new dedicated server. Its running very fast, just about live but once a day my site seems to crash and get this error at the end of the day.
Database error in vBulletin :
mysql_connect() [<a href='function.mysql-connect'>function.mysql-connect</a>]: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (11)

Now my questions are:
the other day my host said the key buffer was full
Can the shoutbox be filling that buffer up faster than it can process it and probably as a fail safe it's just killing the connection until it can catch up
