While $599 in of itself is not a terrible price for a smart phone, when you consider that it's Cingular exclusive, it basically means they are free to charge whatever they want, so you know that it will be quite a lot. When all is said and done, the phone will likely run you well over $1,000.

Remeber, you have to switch services and most of the time you have to pay close to 200 dollar FINES for ending your current service. So add that plus the cost of the phone and service and you end up somewhere in the 800-900 dollar range for a TRENDY FAD PHONE. Not to mention you are forced into a 2 year plan, and on the kynote they said you had to pay for the EDGE service, it's required, so guess what, your forced into no less than an 80 dollar a month plan.
