I have to disagree with that statement. I haven't had any problems, that can go along with how you handle and treat your equipment. When I used to build my own stuff would always break. Maybe it's just becuase I'm not opening the laptop up all the time and adding and over clocking, etc. I don't have any issues with heat.

I also design and code websites on mine while being on the go, but when I home I have a dock to plug into a 27 inch flat screen.

I should mention I dont' have the normal 15 inch, I have a dv9000t with 17inch and full size keyboard.

I'd have to debate that too. You could build a similar for cheaper maybe, not better for cheaper. Better equals more money in the desktop world becuase you can build more than a laptop allows room for.

However, all your desktops are still limited to being used in one place. Mobility is priceless.
